The new Brother Innov-is A16 features completely new technologies compared to previous models in the NV series: an easy-to-use switch allows you to select stitches quickly and simply, with a one-touch needle threader and a quick-set bobbin system, you're ready to start sewing in seconds. Simplicity doesn't mean compromise. The Innov-is A16 has everything an absolute beginner or an experienced expert could need in a sewing machine.
The machine sews very quietly and smoothly, easily handling thick areas, for example when sewing along side seams. With the extended J foot, sharper feed dogs, and reinforced needle bar stabilization, every stitch is perfect.
What has changed compared to the NV series:Sewing quality:- the "J" foot and the feed dog are longer, as in the F series, for better material feeding;
- the sole of the "J" foot bends upwards at a different angle, allowing the machine to easily overcome thick areas;
- a special brush is located on the back of the needle plate, which prevents tension loosening when sewing zigzag, stitches are stable;
- improved buttonhole quality.
Safety:- the needle plate sensor will not allow the machine to start sewing if the needle plate is not installed in the machine;
- the carrying handle is reinforced with a metal plate.
