Bernette
Swiss quality – perfection in every detail

Bernina and Bernette are simply different lines of machines from the same brand. Its history began in the distant year 1893. That year marked a breakthrough in sewing production when Friedrich Gegauf invented a machine for edge finishing. Bernina is a fourth-generation family business.
Thanks to the third owner of the Bernina company, Odette Ulchi, the Bernette line of sewing machines appeared. Bernina + Odette = Bernette. The line was created to compete in the mid and low-price segments. At that time, Japanese machines were the only representatives in the budget option for household sewing machines.

The Bernette model range includes simple mechanical machines with electronic control. This is an ideal option for beginner needlewomen and those who use the equipment from time to time. Such a machine is suitable for small jobs and simple operations. It is easy to operate, as it does not have a large number of additional functions. Every hostess can afford to buy such equipment, as it is in the mid-price segment.
